Newbattle High School Parent Council Welcomes You.

Do you want to have a say about all aspects of your child’s education?

Come along to the Newbattle Parent Council Meetings and have your voice heard. Your involvement will directly benefit your child's school experience. These meetings are for everyone with a child attending Newbattle High. If you've  never been before, why not come along? You'll be made very welcome.

• Parent Council Meetings are:

An informal gathering of a small group of parent/carers and school staff;

A chance to hear school information and updates from the Senior Leadership Team;

A chance to give your views, raise concerns or issues or ask questions on any aspect of school life;

A chance to hear about and celebrate the school successes;

A chance to discuss any possible fundraising opportunities;

Give your opinion or just sit and listen, whatever suits you;

No dress code - just come as you are;

If you’ve enjoyed coming along to the Parent Council meetings and you’d like to become more involved, we are always looking for new members to join the Parent Council Committee and to help run it. No experience or skills necessary – just an interest to be involved.
